He laid the foundation stone for a 50-bed Mother and Child Hospital in Ginabahar, to be constructed at a cost of ₹8.77 crore. Alongside, he also initiated the construction of a Block Public Health Unit worth ₹50 lakh.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister stated that this marks another milestone in the district’s healthcare development. The new hospital will greatly benefit women, mothers, and children in the region. Not just Kunkuri, but also people from Farsabahar, Kansabel, and Duldula blocks will be served. He added that a 200-bed hospital is being built in Jashpur, and the tender process is complete. Affordable treatment is being made accessible through Ayushman cards and generic medicine stores. The “Vay Vandana Yojana” is offering crucial support to elderly citizens, and a new online system has been launched to ensure timely payment of stipends to Mitanins (community health workers).
CM Sai affirmed his commitment to fulfilling “Modi’s Guarantee.” He said:
Construction of PM Awas Yojana homes is progressing rapidly.
