CM Vishnudev Sai: “Inclusive Development and Good Governance Will Build a Strong Chhattisgarh” – Several Key Announcements for the Holistic Development of Pandariya


Raipur, 06 July 2025 – Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai stated that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to bringing every corner of the state into the mainstream of development. He emphasized that the state is working with full dedication to implement the policies and vision of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. Efforts are being made continuously to establish good governance by shutting all doors to corruption. He also highlighted that several schemes are being rapidly implemented to connect rural areas with strong infrastructure and basic amenities.
The Chief Minister made these remarks while virtually addressing the Mahatari Alankaran Samman Ceremony in the Pandariya Assembly constituency. He noted that the initiative to make the Pandariya region prosperous, empowered, and developed has already begun, with approvals and implementation of various schemes and development works underway.

Establishment of a new Sub-Tehsil at Ranvirpur
New college in Birendra Nagar to start from the upcoming academic session
Construction of a 250-seater new Nalanda Campus in Pandariya
New building for the college in Kunda
Construction of a new Nagar Palika (municipal) building in Pandariya
Upgradation of 2.1 km of NH-130A into a four-lane road
The Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for infrastructure development works worth ₹72 crore. He shared that 1,460 Atal Digital Seva Kendras have been set up across gram panchayats to expand banking services in rural areas, with a target to cover all panchayats in the coming year. He mentioned reforms in the registry process to make it simpler, more transparent, and cost-effective for citizens.
Praising the efforts of local MLA Mrs. Bhavna Bohra, the CM announced the launch of five free bus services for female students, calling it a historic step towards empowering daughters by ensuring they face no difficulty in commuting to college.

Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said the day is historic for Pandariya, with the inauguration of ₹72 crore worth of projects and the launch of free bus services for girls – a unique initiative in Chhattisgarh.
Deputy CM Mr. Vijay Sharma remarked that development in the state is no longer limited to urban areas but is reaching every village and region equally. A new chapter of progress is beginning for Chhattisgarh.
MP Mr. Santosh Pandey stated that the initiative will significantly boost girls’ education and empowerment, enabling them to achieve their dreams with confidence.
MLA Bhavna Bohra shared that the number of free buses has increased from 3 to 8, benefiting girl students studying in colleges at Pandariya, Pandatarai, Pipariya, Sahaspur Lohara, and Kawardha. She informed that in the last 1.5 years, development projects worth over ₹600 crore have been approved in Pandariya. Pending works like the Harinala bridge and bypass road have now gained momentum.
The virtual event was attended by Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and Home Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma, while MP Mr. Santosh Pandey, MLA Bhavna Bohra, and several public representatives and officials were present in person at the ceremony held in the Swami Atmanand Government School campus in Pandariya.
