Chief Minister Participates in All-Nai Sen Community Convention and Talent Felicitation Ceremony
Announces ₹10 Lakh for Sen Community Hall Expansion and ₹10 Lakh for Boundary Wall Construction
Raipur, 21 June 2025 — Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai attended the All-Nai Sen Community’s Grand Convention and Talent Felicitation Ceremony held at Mahuatoli in Kunkuri, Jashpur district.
In his address, CM Sai praised the Nai (Sen) community for being known as hardworking and self-reliant. He acknowledged the community’s significant achievements in fields such as education, business, administration, and technology.
The Chief Minister highlighted that this year’s state topper in Class 12, Akhil Sen, belongs to the Sen community. He also mentioned that an entrepreneur from Indore, who is setting up an AI Data Center in Raipur, is also from this community. Remembering Bharat Ratna late Shri Karpoori Thakur, CM Sai emphasized the noteworthy contributions of the Sen community to the nation’s progress.
He noted that from birth to funeral rites, no life ceremony is complete without the services of the Sen community, underlining their crucial role in Indian cultural traditions.
“Education is the Key to Progress”: Chief Minister
Emphasizing the importance of education, CM Sai said it is not merely a means for employment, but a vital tool for personality development. He stated that a well-educated society becomes stronger and more progressive.
The Chief Minister added that the state government is continuously making policy decisions to enhance the quality of education for children. National-level premier institutions are being established in the state, and state-of-the-art libraries like the Nalanda campus are being built across Chhattisgarh to help students prepare for competitive environments.
₹20 Lakh Grant for Sen Community Infrastructure
On this occasion, CM Sai announced a grant of ₹10 lakh for the expansion of the Sen community building in Kunkuri and another ₹10 lakh for the construction of a boundary wall.
Ms. Mona Sen, Chairperson of the Chhattisgarh Hair Artists Board, stated that the Mahtari Vandan Yojana has become a strong foundation for women’s economic empowerment and self-respect. She noted that the scheme has instilled new confidence among women and is contributing to the holistic development of all sections of society through various public welfare initiatives.
CM Honors Talents from the Sen Community
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai honored the talented individuals of the Sen community who have excelled in their respective fields with the “Sant Shiromani Sen Samman.”
The event was attended by District Panchayat President Mr. Salik Sai, Collector Mr. Rohit Vyas, Superintendent of Police Mr. Shashi Mohan Singh, Mr. Krishna Kumar Rai, Mr. Bharat Singh, State President of the Sen Community Mr. Puneet Sen, State Vice President Mr. Avinash Thakur, Mr. Raj Shrivas, other community leaders, dignitaries, and a large number of community members.
