Raipur: The Shaley Shikshak Sangh Chhattisgarh has urged the education department to promptly issue orders ensuring seniority-based promotions and time scale benefits for all integrated teachers. Following a Supreme Court ruling rejecting the state’s SLP, the teachers’ union is pressing for swift implementation of the court’s decision.Teachers’ Fundamental RightThe union emphasized that seniority-based promotion and time scale benefits are fundamental rights of employees. Assistant teachers should receive promotions, while senior teachers, headmasters, and lecturers should be granted time scale pay based on seniority.
