Raipur, 4 July 2025 — Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today honored Shipra Pathak, widely known as “Water Woman,” at the Chief Minister’s residence office in recognition of her outstanding contribution to environmental conservation.
During the courtesy meeting, the Chief Minister praised Shipra Pathak’s dedicated efforts, especially in promoting Sindoor tree plantation among the masses. He honored her by presenting a shawl and a memento as a token of appreciation.
Shipra Pathak has gained widespread recognition for her commitment to environmental conservation and her impactful work in spreading awareness in society. Under her leadership, the plantation campaigns have not only promoted ecological protection but also inspired the public to plant trees and take responsibility for the environment.
On this occasion, Professor Harishankar Singh from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University, Lucknow, was also present.
Chief Minister Sai stated that Shipra Pathak’s efforts in environmental conservation are a source of inspiration for society. He further assured that the Chhattisgarh government is continuously working for environmental protection and will fully support such initiatives.
