Raipur, 1 July 2025 – Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today received a courtesy visit from Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri Ramdas Athawale, at the Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan. The Chief Minister welcomed him warmly by presenting a shawl, a coconut, and a memento.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Shri Sai held an in-depth discussion about various schemes being run by the state government for the socially and educationally backward classes, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities. He also shared the efforts made by the state government towards the effective implementation of centrally sponsored schemes.
Union Minister Shri Athawale appreciated the welfare initiatives undertaken by the Chhattisgarh government and commended its active role in taking central government schemes to the grassroots level. He stated that both the central and state governments are working in coordination and with commitment to uplift the weaker sections of society.
Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap was also present during the occasion.
