Raipur, 23 June 2025: Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah met the family of Martyr Akash Rao Giripunje in Nava Raipur. Mr. Giripunje, an Additional Superintendent of Police, was martyred in an IED blast in Sukma. Expressing his deep condolences, Mr. Shah offered his heartfelt support to the grieving family.
Praising the bravery and sacrifice of ASP Akash Rao Giripunje, Mr. Shah said his martyrdom is unforgettable for the nation. He emphasized that the country will always remain indebted to his sacrifice, and his supreme act of valor will never be in vain. He described the martyr’s courage as truly inspirational and his contribution as invaluable to the nation.
On this occasion, Mr. Shah assured the martyr’s family that the government stands firmly with them at every step. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing all possible assistance to the families of martyrs.
Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai and State Home Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma were also present during the meeting.
