CM Sai’s Initiative Brings Digital Convenience to Employees: Service Information Now Updated via Mobile App
A Boon for State Government Employees: No More Hassles in Retirement, Promotion, or Pay Discrepancies – Faster GPF Payments Ensured

Raipur, 11 June 2025 – Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chhattisgarh Government is taking continuous steps to strengthen and streamline governance through e-governance. Advancing the vision of “Digital Administration – Transparent Solutions”, the state government has launched a new initiative to digitize employee service records via a mobile application. This move reflects the Chief Minister’s commitment to safeguarding the convenience, dignity, and rights of every government employee through a fast, simple, and reliable system.
As part of this initiative, around 4 lakh government employees in the state will no longer have to deal with tedious paperwork for their Confidential Reports (CRs). Employee profiles will now be updated on the Employee Corner mobile app, ensuring smoother processes for retirement, promotion, and resolution of pay discrepancies.
According to the new system, updating employee profiles on the Karmik Sampada portal has now been made mandatory. Both a mobile app and a web portal have been developed for this purpose. The Directorate of Accounts and Treasury has implemented this new system with immediate effect. This platform will be extremely helpful in maintaining updated service records (“employee profile” or ‘kundali’).
Although the Karmik Sampada module has been in use since 2019, this newly developed digital platform offers faster and more user-friendly access to personal and service-related information for employees.
Director of Accounts and Treasury, Mr. Ritesh Agrawal, noted that many employees fail to update their data on the portal, leading to difficulties at the time of retirement. Traditionally, it has been the responsibility of office heads to update employee information, often resulting in delays. To address these issues, the Employee Corner mobile app has been developed, allowing employees to log in and update their own details.
Now, for changes related to service details, nominee updates, and bank account modifications, employees will no longer need to depend on office heads—reducing unnecessary delays. This will ensure transparency and progress in matters like transfers, salary fixation, promotions, and other administrative processes. Additionally, benefits such as pensions, GPF, gratuity, and leave encashment—both during service and after retirement—can be processed more quickly due to regularly updated data.
Key Benefits of the Karmik Sampada App:
Service-related applications submitted by employees can be processed in a timely manner by authorized officers.
Issues related to salary discrepancies will be minimized with updated records.
Employees can log in via the Employee Corner mobile app or web application to update their own information.
The app and portal have been designed to make the profile updating process simple and convenient.

Additionally, a fully online system has been developed to submit the final GPF claim to the Accountant General’s office post-retirement, significantly reducing claim settlement time.
An online GPF credit-missing module has also been introduced, enabling both the office head and the employee to correct missing GPF entries during service through an online process.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has clearly emphasized that every government decision should prioritize the welfare of the public and government employees. This digital initiative is a strong step toward service security, procedural transparency, and faster grievance redressal—firmly positioning Chhattisgarh as a leading state in e-governance.
