Due to Rationalisation, the Flame of Education Rekindled in Jashpur’s Rural Areas

With Teacher Appointments, Schools Regain Vibrancy

Renewed Enthusiasm Among Parents, New Zeal in Students

Raipur, 07 June 2025 The Chhattisgarh Government’s ongoing Rationalisation Campaign—aimed at improving the quality of education and ensuring teacher availability in schools across the state—is now yielding visibly positive outcomes. Implemented under the guidance of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai, this initiative has ignited new hope in the field of education, especially in tribal-dominated and remote rural regions.

Two primary schools—Raigarmunda and Mundadih—under the Farsabahar development block, which were without teachers for years, now have two regular teachers each appointed through the rationalisation process. Raigarmunda school, located in CM Sai’s own constituency of Kunkuri, has seen a complete transformation in its educational environment following the appointments. Previously, the school functioned with minimal support, and student attendance was negligible. Today, a renewed sense of trust among parents has led to fresh enrollment as they bring their children back to the local school.

Similarly, the primary school in Mundadih had long suffered from a lack of teachers, nearly halting educational activities. Concerned villagers feared for the dark future of their children. However, with the recent appointments of full-time teachers, teaching has resumed. The school management committee chairman and the villagers warmly welcomed the new teachers and expressed gratitude to the government.

Village resident Mrs. Shanti Chauhan, whose daughter studies in Class 5, became emotional as she shared, “Now we feel secure that our children can also study and achieve something in life. Having teachers is a huge gift for us.”

Commenting on this positive shift, Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai said, “Our government is committed to prioritizing education. I personally observed that many schools, especially in remote areas, were functioning without teachers. That is why we implemented the rationalisation process with full transparency to ensure that teachers are posted where needed most. The changes seen in Jashpur’s Farsabahar region stand as evidence of the policy’s success. This is not just an administrative reform—it’s a vital step toward shaping the future of our children.”

The Chief Minister further stated that the government aims to ensure that all primary and secondary schools in the state have the necessary teachers by the next academic session. With teacher presence, students will receive regular guidance, educational activities will be revitalized, and a new wave of awareness toward education is sweeping through these regions.

Thus, this rationalisation initiative in villages like Raigarmunda and Mundadih is not only strengthening education but also reinforcing the foundation of public trust and participation in governance. It marks a meaningful step toward Chhattisgarh’s vision of “Sab Padhein, Sab Badhein” (Let everyone learn, let everyone grow).
