Raipur, 06 June 2025 – The rationalization policy implemented by the Chhattisgarh government has sparked new hope for improved teaching and learning conditions in schools located in remote areas. Acting on the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai, the deployment of teachers in schools is being carried out swiftly and with full transparency. Under the guidance of Collector Mr. Nilesh Kumar Mahadev Kshirsagar, the rationalization process in the district has been completed smoothly and fairly.
Schools that previously had either no teachers or only one teacher now have subject-specific teachers in place. This has paved the way for better teaching of subjects like Mathematics, Science, and others.
Teachers Express Trust and Gratitude
The teachers have expressed great satisfaction with the process. Teacher Mrs. Sindhu Srivastava shared that during the counseling process, vacancies were displayed on screen, which made school selection easy. She expressed gratitude towards the government and administration. Senior teacher Mr. Manoj Kumar Jain, who was previously posted at the Devdongar Secondary School, said that even though he is close to retirement, he was given the opportunity to select a school transparently and as per his preference. He noted that due to this initiative, rural schools will now have expert teachers in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology, improving students’ education.
Teacher Atmaram Mandavi shared his surprise and appreciation upon being placed at a school within his own block through the rationalization process. He added that the presence of the Collector, CEO, and District Education Officer during the counseling itself made the transparency and credibility of the process evident.
A Major Step Toward Inclusive Education
The teaching community believes that this transparent rationalization process will significantly enhance the quality of education by ensuring teachers are placed where they are most needed. This will strengthen the trust of students and parents in government schools. The initiative is being hailed as a major step towards inclusive education. The state government’s rationalization policy is seen as a foundational effort to secure a brighter future for students. Teachers have extended their thanks to the Government of Chhattisgarh and the Kanker District Administration for this initiative.
