Raipur, April 11, 2025 – Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated a new environment-friendly public transport service—E-Auto Service—in Nava Raipur. This initiative has been launched in collaboration with Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Development Authority (NRANVP) and Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission “Bihan”.Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that this is not merely the launch of a transport service, but a significant effort by the state government to empower women through self-reliance and entrepreneurship.The E-Auto service will be operated by women self-help groups, involving 40 women members from 15 village organizations across 3 clusters. Covering a stretch of 130 kilometers, this service will connect key locations such as residential areas, offices, railway stations, the airport, and Jungle Safari.Under the ‘Lakhpati Didi Yojana’, this initiative marks a major step toward self-sufficiency for 40 women, boosting their monthly income and making them economically empowered. In the future, this service is expected to emerge as a model in the field of local transportation, offering convenient, affordable, and pollution-free commuting options for residents of Nava Raipur.The event was attended by Housing and Environment Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary, MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri P. Dayanand, Secretary of Industries Department Shri Rajat Kumar, Secretary of Housing and Environment Department Shri Ankit Anand, and NRANVP CEO Shri Saurabh Kumar, along with several senior officials and staff members.
