Four-Day Ram Navami Mahayagya Begins at CM Vishnu Deo Sai’s Residence in Bagiya; Thousands Join Grand Kalash Yatra
Jashpurnagar, April 4:A grand four-day Ram Navami Mahayagya commenced on Friday at the residence of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai in Bagiya, Kansabel block, with an elaborate Kalash Yatra. Organized on the auspicious occasion of the Hindu New Year and the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram, the event witnessed a massive gathering of devotees from early morning.The CM’s residence echoed with devotional songs, chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” and traditional music including jhanjh and mandar. Around 3 PM, the Kalash Yatra began from the premises. Chief Minister’s wife, Mrs. Kaushalya Sai, actively participated in the procession, walking alongside hundreds of women devotees.Carrying sacred pots on their heads, the women collected holy water from the banks of the Pendra river and returned to the venue, where the yajna site was sanctified with Vedic chants and rituals. Following this, the idol of Goddess Durga was installed through a pran-pratishtha ceremony.The Mahayagya is being organized under the blessings of Param Pujya Gurudev Swami Shri Dhanpati Panda Ji Maharaj of Gurudham Bhuiyanpani, Lailunga, and in the spiritual guidance of the Satya Sanatan Dharma Devi Samaj.Upcoming Schedule Highlights:Saturday: Aarti, Pujan, spiritual discourses (pravachan), devotional plays (leela), and bhajans.Sunday: Regular worship, Sandhi Puja, pravachan, leela, and bhajans.Monday (Final Day): Navkanya Pujan, Purnahuti, Sahastra Snan, blessings ceremony, idol immersion, and prasad distribution.Organizers have appealed to devotees to participate in large numbers and receive divine blessings.
