CM Sai Presents Visionary Roadmap for Development at ‘Rising Chhattisgarh’ Conclave

Raipur, 11 July 2025:
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the grand ‘Rising Chhattisgarh’ Conclave organized by News18 Madhya Pradesh–Chhattisgarh in the capital city Raipur. The event featured in-depth discussions on various aspects of development, good governance, and public welfare in the state. On this occasion, CM Sai emphasized that his government is rapidly advancing the agenda of inclusive development in Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister stated that the people of Chhattisgarh—over 30 million—have given his government historic support, and work began from day one. In the very first cabinet meeting, 1.8 million houses were sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, allowing thousands of families to realize their dream of homeownership. In a historic move for the agriculture sector, the government has begun purchasing paddy at ₹3100 per quintal, including two years’ worth of pending payments to farmers. For women, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana is providing ₹1,000 monthly financial assistance to 7 million women across the state.

Highlighting tribal empowerment efforts, CM Sai mentioned initiatives like free footwear (Charan Paduka) distribution, bonuses for tendu leaf collectors, and Teerth Darshan schemes that offer religious pilgrimage opportunities to the underprivileged.
He further noted the government’s commitment to rural financial inclusion. As promised, banking facilities are being made accessible in villages through the establishment of Atal Digital Centers in 1,460 gram panchayats, with plans to expand to all panchayats. The production of Ready-to-Eat food products has once again been entrusted to women’s self-help groups, reinforcing their economic participation.
The CM reiterated the government’s serious approach to eliminating Naxalism through the Naxal-Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Naxal-Free India Mission). The central government has set a target to free the country of Naxalism by March 31, 2026. Under the Niyad Nellnar plan, rapid development is being carried out in affected villages. This transformation is made possible by the commitment of the “double-engine” government at both the state and central levels.
The Rising Chhattisgarh Conclave featured several thought-provoking sessions focused on the state’s potential, achievements, and future direction. The event served as a powerful platform for dialogue on governance, empowerment, and innovation, strongly presenting Chhattisgarh’s vision on the national stage.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and Agriculture Minister Dr. Ramvichar Netam were also present at the occasion.
