22 Naxalites with a Collective Bounty of ₹37.50 Lakh Surrender

Raipur, 11 July 2025 — A total of 22 Naxalites carrying a combined bounty of ₹37.50 lakh have surrendered in Narayanpur district. The rewards on their heads ranged from ₹50,000 to ₹8 lakh each.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai shared on social media platform X, stating, “People now want to walk the path of development, not carry guns.” He further noted that under his administration, a total of 1,476 Maoists have surrendered so far.

The Chief Minister emphasized that this is a direct result of the state government’s new Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy 2025 and the success of various public welfare schemes. Initiatives like ‘Niyad Nellanar’ have built trust among the people, leading many to abandon violence and return to the mainstream of development.

He affirmed the government’s full commitment to the rehabilitation of surrendered Naxalites and reiterated the double-engine government’s pledge to completely eradicate Naxalism by 31 March 2026.
