Congratulates and Honors the Talented Athletes of the State
Raipur, 20 June 2025 – Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the “Pankh Sports Achievement Awards 2025” ceremony organized by Bansal News at a private hotel in Raipur today. On the occasion, he appreciated Bansal News’s initiative to provide a platform for rural talent in the field of sports and extended his best wishes to the organizers and the young athletes being honored.
The Chief Minister stated that for the past three years, Bansal News has been doing commendable and inspiring work by recognizing and honoring talented athletes from rural areas across the state. He noted that selected athletes are being awarded an encouragement amount of ₹50,000 each year through this program, which motivates them to continue their sports activities and strive for better performance.
He further said that Bansal News has emerged as a strong platform for the people of the state, acting as a vigilant pillar of democracy. Praising the organization, he added that it plays a significant role in spreading awareness about government welfare schemes to the masses.
During the event, Chief Minister Sai also extended greetings for the upcoming International Yoga Day on 21 June and urged everyone to incorporate yoga into their daily routine.
The event was graced by Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Sports Minister Shri Tankaram Verma, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, MLA Shri Kiran Deo, along with other public representatives, dignitaries, and a large gathering of athletes.
