Raipur, June 19, 2025 – Following the decision by Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai to adjust B.Ed-qualified assistant teachers to the post of Assistant Teacher (Science – Laboratory), the counseling process began on June 17 and will continue until June 26.
This counseling is being conducted at Government College of Education, Shankar Nagar, Raipur, for assistant teachers who were selected through direct recruitment in 2023 but were removed from service due to lacking B.Ed qualifications.
According to the Directorate of Public Instruction, the counseling starts daily at 10:00 AM. On the first two days (June 17 and 18), 601 teachers were called, and 595 candidates attended.

Those who were unable to attend on their scheduled date can participate on other days within the counseling period.
