Raipur, April 6, 2025: If you’re looking to spend quality time with your family amidst nature and fresh air, the newly developed Environment Park (Paryavaran Vatika) in Bagiya village is the perfect spot. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the eco garden today in his native village Bagiya, located in Jashpur district. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, he planted saplings of coconut, betel nut, and Sita Ashoka, spreading the message of environmental conservation.Built over 28 hectares at a cost of \u20b953 lakh, the park features a wide range of attractions including an Adventure Zone, Butterfly Zone, Children\u2019s Park, Waterfall, Meditation Hut, and a rich variety of medicinal plants. These features aim to bring people closer to nature and offer a joyful, immersive experience. The Chief Minister shared that this initiative will also create employment opportunities for locals.A Green Space with Healing PowerThe eco garden includes a jungle trail, yoga zone, Arogya Van Path, Mowgli Adventure Zone, Oxygen Booth, Pagoda, Gajraj Zone, natural swings, and a kids\u2019 play area. It houses medicinal plants like Harra, Giloy, Bael Bamboo, Sarpagandha, Ashwagandha, Barbados Lily, Mint, Lemongrass, Patharchatta, and Amla.Celebrating Nature\u2019s PollinatorsThe Butterfly Zone in the park showcases the life cycle of butterflies and their role in the ecosystem. It features all butterfly species found in Jashpur, aiming to educate visitors about butterfly conservation and their ecological importance.Adventure for the Young ExplorersThe Mowgli Adventure Zone is specially designed for children, equipped with exciting activities like commando net, tyre walk, balance bridge, rope walk, cargo net, single line bridge, and Burma bridge. The natural swings and kids\u2019 play structures add to the charm of the space.A Pagoda under Sal trees has been constructed for families to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Tribal culture has also been highlighted through sculptures created by indigenous artists. Eco-friendly bamboo dustbins have been installed throughout the park to promote cleanliness and awareness about the environment.A Loving Gesture by the Chief MinisterTrue to his affectionate nature, CM Vishnu Deo Sai warmly interacted with children playing in the park. He called them over, spoke with them kindly, and gifted them fruits and dry fruits.
