Raipur, 7 July 2025 \u2013 Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has congratulated the security forces for their successful operation in neutralizing Sodhi Kanna, the Deputy Commander of the Maoist PLGA Battalion, who carried a reward of \u20b98 lakh, in Bijapur district of Bastar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He praised the unmatched courage of the security personnel, their precise strategy, and the vital role of public cooperation in the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chief Minister stated that under the guidance of Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the leadership of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, the mission to make the country free of Naxalism by 31st March 2026 has entered its decisive phase. The Chhattisgarh government is fully committed to this mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that this operation is a living example of the valor and well-planned actions of our brave security forces. Their continuous and decisive efforts have broken the backbone of the Naxal organization. “Today, Naxalism is breathing its last,” he said. The Chhattisgarh government will continue this campaign with full determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
