50 Schools in Jashpur Receive Smart Kits; CM Hails It as a Milestone in the Education Revolution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raipur, 28 June 2025 \u2013 Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the Sampark Smart School and Smart Block program today at Bagiya High School in Kansabel block of Jashpur district. On this occasion, Sampark smart kits and televisions were distributed to students from 50 primary schools in the district. Sitting among the students, the Chief Minister fondly recalled his childhood. Becoming emotional, he shared that 50 years ago, the school building had a thatched roof, and today it has been completely transformed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

District Panchayat President Shri Salik Sai and Kansabel Janpad Panchayat President Smt. Sushila Sai were also present at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the program, Chief Minister Sai said that the Sampark Smart School has been launched in village Bagiya as an innovation initiative. Expressing joy, he recalled that he completed his primary education (Class 1 to 5) at the Bagiya Primary School. \u201cFifty years ago, the roof leaked during rains, and we had to move around to avoid the dripping water. Today, this very school has transformed into a full-fledged high school,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also mentioned how, in earlier times, students had to travel long distances for high school education. But now, Chhattisgarh offers quality education with engineering colleges, medical colleges, and national-level institutions being easily accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chief Minister emphasized that education is the only true mantra for holistic development. \u201cTeachers are the nation-builders who help create doctors, engineers, lawyers, scientists, and professors,\u201d he added. He also highlighted the contributions of Mr. Vineet Nayar, former CEO of HCL Technologies and founder of the Sampark Foundation, who drew inspiration from his mother, a government school teacher, to launch this initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sampark Foundation is making significant contributions to improving children\u2019s learning in states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. It uses engaging tools such as Sampark TV devices and Math and English kits to make education fun and accessible. These kits have now been distributed to 50 schools in Jashpur district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CM expressed confidence that these kits will be used effectively in schools and will help children overcome hesitation and engage more easily in learning. He urged all headmasters to thoroughly understand the usage of these resources and provide students with opportunities to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outstanding Academic Performance in Jashpur<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, this year too, Jashpur district students excelled in board exams. Fifteen students from the district secured spots in the Top 10 merit list for Class 10 and 12 board exams, bringing honor to the region. Class 10 and 12 recorded a remarkable 94% pass rate, making Jashpur the highest-performing district in the state. At the primary level, Class 5 achieved 99.5% results, and Class 8 achieved 97.3%, marking an impressive academic performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the guidance of the Chief Minister, orientation programs for headmasters and principals are being conducted at the district level. To promote scientific thinking, collaborations have been initiated with ISRO, IITs, and other reputed institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daily attendance of teachers and students is being recorded via a mobile app, and regular monitoring of daily lesson plans (dainandini) is being done. Rationalization efforts to improve academic operations have also been completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of this initiative, foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) kits are being distributed through Sampark Foundation to 50 primary schools. These efforts are expected to serve as a milestone in improving the district’s educational quality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
