Raipur, June 9, 2025 \u2013<\/strong> In a bid to make governance more efficient and citizen-centric, the Chhattisgarh Government organized Chintan Shivir 2.0 at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur. The two-day workshop focused on innovative strategies and modern technologies for delivering government schemes more effectively and enhancing good governance practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, along with his cabinet colleagues, engaged in in-depth discussions with subject matter experts on various aspects of governance. On the final day, Sanjeev Sanyal, member of the Prime Minister\u2019s Economic Advisory Council, delivered a keynote lecture on \u201cThe Art of Good Governance.\u201d He highlighted the need to simplify administrative processes, strengthen state capabilities, eliminate redundant regulations, and restructure government agencies. He emphasized that improving the quality of policy-making and execution is vital for effective governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Rajendra Prasad Gupta, a digital health expert, presented insights into the role of digital technologies in health governance. He explained how tools like e-health records, telemedicine, mobile health apps, and artificial intelligence can ensure quality healthcare even in remote and underserved areas. These technologies not only enhance service delivery but also increase transparency and accountability, thereby strengthening public trust in governance.Renowned political analyst and author Uday Mahurkar spoke on the topic \u201cGood Governance to Elections\u201d, exploring the historical context of Indian democracy, the quality of political conduct, administrative accountability, and citizen-focused policy implementation. He emphasized that a robust and transparent governance system builds public trust in democracy and directly influences the electoral process. He also stressed the importance of strengthening local governance, bringing transparency in elections, and instilling ethical values in administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also saw the presence of Chief Minister\u2019s Secretary Rahul Bhagat and IIM Raipur Director Dr. Ram Kakani, who supported the knowledge-sharing platform aimed at building a future-ready governance model for Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
