During the meeting, the Chief Minister shared detailed information on the success of anti-Maoist operations and the ongoing development initiatives in the Bastar region. Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Vijay Sharma, and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr. Subodh Singh, were also present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Chief Minister stated that due to the state&#8217;s new strategy and the central government&#8217;s support, the anti-Naxal campaign has reached a decisive phase. Intensive operations conducted over the past one and a half years have yielded significant results. A total of 1,428 Maoists have surrendered, marking a substantial increase compared to the past five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Sai informed that 205 encounters resulted in the killing of 427 Maoists, including top leaders such as General Secretary Baswa Raju and Central Committee member Sudhakar. Additionally, 64 new forward security camps have been established across the state, significantly strengthening the security network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that essential services such as electricity, drinking water, healthcare, and schools are now rapidly reaching villages located near these security camps. Under the &#8216;Niyad Nellanar Yojana&#8217;, 18 types of community services and 25 government schemes are being implemented in 146 identified villages, which has strengthened public trust in government systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Home Minister Amit Shah appreciated the progress report presented by Chief Minister Sai, stating that the Chhattisgarh government\u2019s efforts have made decisive control over Maoist activities possible.
