{"id":2107,"date":"2025-06-05T14:53:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-05T14:53:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/publiccg.in\/?p=2107"},"modified":"2025-06-05T14:53:11","modified_gmt":"2025-06-05T14:53:11","slug":"national-archery-academy-to-be-established-in-nava-raipur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/publiccg.in\/?p=2107","title":{"rendered":"National Archery Academy to be Established in Nava Raipur"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sports talents will get an international platform<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CM Vishnu Deo Sai: &#8220;Our youth will now have access to world-class training&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Raipur, June 5, 2025 \u2013<\/strong> In a major step towards shaping the future of sports for the youth of Chhattisgarh, the state cabinet, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, approved the proposal to establish a National Archery Academy in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar during a meeting held on June 4 at Mahanadi Bhawan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This upcoming academy will rank among the top sports institutions in the country, equipped with state-of-the-art training facilities and residential amenities for athletes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the establishment of the National Archery Academy, the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare will be allotted 13.47 acres of land free of cost in Sector-03, Village Parsada, Nava Raipur. The state government will reimburse \u20b939.22 crore, covering land premium, lease rent, and GST, to the Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Development Authority (NRANVP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Calling the decision historic, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said, \u201cThis is not just the beginning of a building or an institution, but a golden opportunity for the youth of Chhattisgarh. Our state is full of talent; what they need is proper training and opportunity. A national-level archery academy will provide international-standard facilities and guidance to our players. This will not only put Chhattisgarh on the map in the sports world but also produce athletes who will bring glory to the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The academy will be developed with the support of NTPC Limited. It will feature an outdoor archery range, air-conditioned indoor range, high-performance center, hostels for players, and residential quarters for staff and directors, among other world-class facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A lease agreement must be executed and registered within three months of land allotment. Construction must begin within one year of the agreement date and be completed within three years. The NRANVP will serve as the implementing agency, and the necessary budgetary provisions will be ensured by the state government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This marks the first major infrastructure project in Chhattisgarh for a traditional and technical sport like archery.
