Patna, May 2025: Bandhan Bank today announced the opening of six new branches in Bihar and Jharkhand. In total, the bank has launched 16 new branches across five states, including seven in Odisha, two in Andhra Pradesh, and one in Chhattisgarh.The inauguration was carried out by Bandhan Bank\u2019s MD and CEO, Mr. Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, along with ED & CBO Mr. Rajinder Kumar Babbar, ED & COO Mr. Ratan Kumar Kesh, and other senior dignitaries from the bank.In Bihar, the new branches are located in Banka (Bounsi branch) and Munger (Dharhara and Sangrampur branches), while in Jharkhand, they are located in Dhanbad (Govindpur branch), Garhwa (Nagar Untari branch), and Palamu (Panki branch). All the new branches will serve customers in rural and semi-urban regions.With these new branches, the bank now has 672 banking outlets in Bihar and 173 in Jharkhand. The expansion aligns with the bank\u2019s strategic commitment to diversify and strengthen its presence across the country.
